Dave Ferguson published some work a while back (which was in my old print mags) in which he used the CF Event Manager to monitor the size delta of files as they arrived during an upload process. As I recall, this was to help pin down the true end of upload event or sense a stalled process for really huge files.
But the dreamer in me would think that one could employ something like this to prevent a file that's being uploaded from exceeding a certain size. I can't imagine that the user experience would be very good if it did, though; cause you might have to break something on purpose to stop it, like a connection. Alan K.
