Yes I'm pretty sure it's OK... Only difference what I have done in
my /opt/openbd folder is that I have a symbolik link to the standard
tomcat installation

lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   25 Jan  2 18:27 tomcat -> /opt/apache-
tomcat-6.0.20
drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4.0K Jan  7 20:49 ..
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root   21 Jan  7 20:54 jdk -> /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_17
-rwxr--r-- 1 root root 1.3K Jan  7 21:15 openbd_ctl
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4.0K Jan  7 21:27 bin
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4.0K Jan  7 21:28 classes
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4.0K Jan  7 21:28 customtags
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4.0K Jan  7 21:28 lib
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4.0K Jan  7 21:28 webresources
drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 4.0K Jan  7 21:28 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4.0K Jan  7 22:53 bluedragon

So tomcat points to the /opt/apache-tomcat-6.0.20
and my jdk to the standard SUN install folder... in the case my 1.6
JDK
/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_17

I know from BEA WebLogic that it from time to time is a mess with
symbolic links and that the .XML's get confused and either can't use
the symbolic link name and must really have the correct full path and
some times the other way around. Not sure if tomcat has this kind of
problem also.

As said I have only downloaded the Apache Connctor and added it to the
httpd.conf but I'm not accessing my application over port 80. I'm
using the port 8080.

I first installed it as described in wiki doc Apache_Tomcat_on_CentOS/
RedHat
and there put my admin in the same level as the demo folder was... but
got exactly the same error message...
Tried /admin mapping also there bt with the same result

Mats
