Thanks Matt... honestly, I wouldn't know where to begin.. I know jack schmidt about java
I need to get as much of the site working for a demo since I need to raise some working capital. So if I can't get it to work, it's going to get put off for now and I'm going to work on other stuff. All I really care about is getting a total record count.. right now.. the max I am getting is 15. It works, and I can get the stat, but it caps out at 15. I tried a link that has about 1000 matches on twitter.. shows up at 15 for me. Either way, thanks for your help. I actually just shot an email over to backtype.com since they are looking for partnerships and it seems like they provide a big chunk of the social media stats for bit.ly On Mon, Aug 16, 2010 at 3:09 PM, Matthew Woodward <[email protected]>wrote: > So that's results per page, not total results, and you're getting back the > first page. > > It looks like I'll have to update things at some point and implement > pageable search results. > > If you need to use this before I get a chance to update it, you can > leverage the Java directly: > http://twitter4j.org/en/javadoc/index.html > > The Twitter class has the search method on it, which takes in a Query > object (a twitter4j query object, not a CFML query object), and you can set > the page number on the Query object. > > Can't guarantee when I'll be able to make these modifications but I'll add > it to my list and hopefully get to it soon. > > On Mon, Aug 16, 2010 at 12:42 PM, Jason King <[email protected]>wrote: > >> Hopefully there is a way to change that because without it I can't use >> it.. >> >> I was looking here >> >> http://dev.twitter.com/doc/get/search >> >> And at the JSON request example. the 15 limit is declared but it looks >> like it can be changed >> >> {"results":[ >> {"text":"@twitterapi http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/ctrefg", >> "to_user_id":396524, >> "to_user":"TwitterAPI", >> "from_user":"jkoum", >> "metadata": >> { >> "result_type":"popular", >> "recent_retweets": 100 >> >> }, >> "id":1478555574, >> "from_user_id":1833773, >> "iso_language_code":"nl", >> "source":"<a href="http:\/\/twitter.com\/">twitter<\/a>", >> "profile_image_url":"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com >> \/twitter_production\/profile_images\/118412707\/2522215727_a5f07da155_b_normal.jpg", >> "created_at":"Wed, 08 Apr 2009 19:22:10 +0000"}, >> ... truncated ...], >> "since_id":0, >> "max_id":1480307926, >> "refresh_url":"?since_id=1480307926&q=%40twitterapi", >> * "results_per_page":15,* >> "next_page":"?page=2&max_id=1480307926&q=%40twitterapi", >> "completed_in":0.031704, >> "page":1, >> "query":"%40twitterapi"} >> } >> >> >> >> -- >> Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List >> http://www.openbluedragon.org/ http://twitter.com/OpenBlueDragon >> official manual: http://www.openbluedragon.org/manual/ >> Ready2Run CFML http://www.openbluedragon.org/openbdjam/ >> >> mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en >> > > > > -- > Matthew Woodward > [email protected] > http://blog.mattwoodward.com > identi.ca / Twitter: @mpwoodward > > Please do not send me proprietary file formats such as Word, PowerPoint, > etc. as attachments. > http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/no-word-attachments.html > > -- > Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List > http://www.openbluedragon.org/ http://twitter.com/OpenBlueDragon > official manual: http://www.openbluedragon.org/manual/ > Ready2Run CFML http://www.openbluedragon.org/openbdjam/ > > mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en > -- Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List http://www.openbluedragon.org/ http://twitter.com/OpenBlueDragon official manual: http://www.openbluedragon.org/manual/ Ready2Run CFML http://www.openbluedragon.org/openbdjam/ mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en
