Not to send you on a wild goose chase, but I had problems with OpenBD
NOT getting all the cgi variables from Apache when ProxyPass was used
with the http connector (trying to get Mura working).
Matt suggested I use Apache's ajp connector instead.
This, on the wild speculation that the lack of (or incorrect) cgi
variables could be messing with your requests as well.
