Use this version and it will work. We opted not to support the
'local' scope because this whole area is just one big cluster-f**k to
be quite frank with you. Whoever in ACF thought this was a good way
to handle variables inside a function needs taken out side and given a
good seeing too with a 2x4!
What i can say though, is that we've recently added a flag to the core
engine to make the UDF functions behave as they should have from the
start, and like all other languages.
