I could be out of date, but I always thought that the
FCKEditor/CKEditor product line was a client-side application; which
would make the development and customization concepts the same -
regardless of whatever you had running on the server: CFML, JSP, PHP, etc
Sure, you could use a server-side script to dynamically build some of
the editor's config files, but that would be the same as composing any
other output.
