Things may be in flux at the moment but ColdSpring absolutely did work with GAE previously. The Enlist app from the hackfest at OpenCF Summit uses ColdSpring but we started development on the "pre-codebase-merge" version of OpenBD GAE so maybe there are some tweaks that need to be made.
