VirtualBox has the concept of shared directories which allows you to access
the host file system from the guest, so you should be able to just use a
shared directory as your docbase I'd think, provided you're using some
method of configuration (e.g. mod_jk) that doesn't tie you to the more
standard Java webapp configuration.
