I have MoneyDance, which is a Java application for managing money.  It is well 
supported on the Mac.  However, everyone was concerned with Lion because of 
Apple passing off support of Lion to Sun.  It looks like the Mac will pop up  a 
dialog box and ask you if you want to install Java the first time Money Dance 
is installed.  Here is a link:

Oğuz - how does that work with Open BD?  When you started Tomcat the first time 
did it ask to install Java?
