Thanks. I read that post. It's where I got the impression that
mod_throttle was out of date for Apache2, and that mod_bandwidth has
been unchanged since 2007. But I'll drill down some more.
To be clear; Nagios mimics an appliance? It sits between your network
access point and your first router? So the server needs two NIC
(ethernet cards), like the old proxy servers?
