I think I've found a thread from last April, the subject line is
"OpenBD Desktop Server - overwriting web.xml changes on restart"
They're talking about the web.xml file here, perhaps there's some
similarity. I don't have time to read the whole thing...

To make this work, you will notice there is a "shadow" folder in the
root directory of the desktop server. Drop your custom JAR/web.xml
file into that corresponding subdirectory and restart.
This will make sure the the "WEB-INF/" folder will now have your changes.

directives on top of the xml file. Have you clicked on the help menu in the
openbd desktop app? It has a list of items you can edit.
