Just to add to Alan's suggestions you could also use a build script that
would write the correct information to the bluedragon.xml file for the
target environment. Alan's suggestions are simpler overall but a build
script that targets specific environments is another option.

As an aside some frameworks handle this as well--for example Mach-II lets
you define environment-specific settings based on host name or IP (Alan's
suggestion #3) so you can deploy the app anywhere and when the app first
loads it will get the correct settings.
