[OpenBD] OpenBD Jam Stack installed failed

Using a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server I downloaded and 
attempted to install the latest OpenBD Jam Stack and got the following 
error:

    Installing OpenBD jam: [: 9: 0: unexpected operator FAILED
