All that you need is the OpenBD Ready2Run Jetty installed (no other
software is required). Unzip that one into your C:\ at the directory
"jetty-openbd". Then run the registerService.cmd and that is all you need.
Make sure you don't have any other CMD interpreter running (cygwin or
PowerCmd) that may frig with the command.
The bitage of Windows does not matter - though its fair to say this
won't work on WindowsXP. Vista and above will work.
Did i read you were on a VPS setup? Sounds like then you are in a
hosted environment. If that is the case, then why Windows? Windows as
a production server isn't the most flexible of options, and I would
recommend a Linux setup, (Rackspace for example starts at $10 per month)
and our OpenBDJAM will get you started in a heart beat (including MySQL).
