So I got a WAR deployment of my sample OpenBD 2.0.1 app running on a
Cloudbees instance. I believe the correct east coast engineering term
for difficulty rating is: "bada bing".
With my limited access to the guts of this PaaS system (read: none), I'm
concerned about the current state of Scheduled Tasks - as set up via the
OpenBD admin.
The group's legacy advice (to forsake the CF method in favor of a cron
job) can't really be applied here.
Do we have an updated report on the reliability of CF Scheduled Tasks in
the > 2.0 versions?
In the notes, I see a bug fix on pause/resume, and that run-once was
removed; but I guess I'm asking for a little more anecdotal reassurance
on CFSCHEDULE & Admin Schedule support, before I go all-in on this
platform with some real apps.
