Hi Friends,

I thought I would write you about a conference that some fellow CFML lovers and I are putting on in Dallas, TX next month (Feb 24-26 - Friday through Sunday) called OpenCF Summit:

http://www.opencfsummit.org

It's focused on open source CFML development and the open source CFML engines (Open BlueDragon and Railo). I thought I would write you since CFML is a rapid application development language that runs on top of the J2EE stack which is appealing to developers building enterprise applications.

OpenCF Summit is an all-volunteer, zero-profit event and we got great sponsorship assistance, the registration cost for the event is only $72 for the three day event. We're lucky to have some big name speakers comes to talk about open source CFML and what that means for developers and businesses. We're having speakers from MasterCard, Jealastic, and CloudBees. So if you want to learn about the open source and the cloud, OpenCF Summit is the place to be.

Some of the sponsors:

* Railo
* OpenBD
* MasterCard International
* CloudBees
* Mura
* Vivio Technologies
* GreatBizTools
* Chicago Growth Partners

We also have opportunities for you to speak! We have several lightening talk sessions scheduled as well as an unconference running throughout the conference, and the focus on the first day is the unconference / free training. We hope that all the attendees will take the opportunity to share some of the cool stuff they're doing with CFML or open source projects.

Thanks for your time, and maybe we'll see you at the event! If you can do me a favor and let other developers you know about the event I'd really appreciate it.

Best,
Peter J. Farrell
Team Mach-II

P.s. Feel free to ask any questions you might have, I'd be happy to answer them.
