thats really interesting... I have checked the response with a proxy
in the middle an this is the response:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *
Content-Type: application/json; charset=UTF-8
Content-Length: 31

{"ok":true,"acknowledged":true}

so is plain raw json... definetely it should not been parsed...
FYI Railo 3.3 and 3.2 is having only json not a bytearray.
