Hi All,

We've finally removed audit info from the sourcedata XML files. This,
however, doesn't mean that the audit info columns have also been
removed. What this means is that audit info will from now on be
local-based on the sourcedata (Application Dictionary) tables. By taking
this info out of the XML files, we guarantee that this info only changes
in your particular instance when a local change has happened, and
therefore, now it's more useful to keep track of when did the changes
really happened.

Also, we can also from now on use "real" users for the CREATEDBY and
UPDATEDBY columns, as this info will not be exported and therefore there
is no risk of the user not existing in every database.

We plan to use this columns to greatly improve the build process of
Openbravo, by building only the parts that really changed in the
particular database in which the build is being done, thus improving
performance of the build task.

By removing this info from the files, we've also made them smaller. And
finally, the removal of these columns also should reduce the number of
conflicts when merging sourcedata files.

We hope these advantages outweight any potential annoyance that we could
have caused during this merge process. Regards,

Antonio Moreno.
