Gorka,

the standard IDE for Openbravo is Eclipse and imo it makes sense to deliver
a preconfigured distro that directly supports Eclipse IDE without the need
of installing an add-on. I agree with you that additional files for other
IDE's could be stored in a different repository. But I would try to keep it
simple for Eclipse.

I'm in favour of Juanpa's proposal.

Hi all,

In my case I disagree having those files in the repository. All these
files are not necessary to run Openbravo so it doesn't make sense to me
having there. If I, or someone else, configure his Openbravo
installation using JEdit or another tool are we going to put those
configuration files in the main repository?

I'd put all these files in the add-ons repository [1], that way a person
that doesn't want to work with Eclipse doesn't get those files. And
create an ant build or a script to apply the add-on to our installation
automatically using the parameters defined in the Openbravo.properties file.
