Hi,

What is the process for proposing & discussing changes to the current design of
Openbravo Core?
i.e. Not adding new functionality or enhancing existing functions, but just
changing the underlying
implementation (and possibly design).

I can do the same process as a bug fix or enhancement and file an issue, then
implement & commit
the changes. However I'd really like to be able to discuss the proposed changes
before implementing
them. Just because I think a certain approach is better doesn't mean that it
actually is. I may be unaware
of constraints/requirements that lead to the original design/implementation.

What I'd really like to be able to do is put forward a proposal and then have a
review/discussion with
the person(s) responsible for that area of code. Assuming they are happy with
the proposal I can
then implement the changes.

Awaiting your thoughts
cheers
