I think it's different. There was a bug by which all the lines of the
files included a ^M in MS-Windows. Example:

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>^M
<data>^M
<!--0--><AD_MODULE>^M

And the bug reported by Isma I think it means that inside a CDATA
sometimes there are ^M characters on new lines.
