Hi,

I'm trying to setup an LDAP server for local use,
currently on localhost. slapd runs like a sunshine, I
can reach it with ldapsearch but I can't reach it with
thunderbird...

I'm listing with tcpdump, but there is absolutely no
LDAP traffic to port 389...
Running slapd -d 255 doesn't show any incoming
requests from thunderbird...

I've added the LDAP server in thunderbird:
Name: myname
Hostname: localhost
Base DN: dc=my,dc=domain
Port: 389
Bind DN: "blank"
Use SSL: unchecked

In account settings "use different LDAP server",
and selected "myname".

Search address gives totally no network activity.

What's wrong with thunderbird? Is it build without
ldap support?
