Heres the story:
- I'm very new to all of this...
- OpenBSD 4.1 running as localhost for home-grown Web-based Database
Application
- No DNS record for the machine --- only accessable by IP address from
behind DSL/router (192.168.0.x)

Here's the goal:
setup security based emails to go to personal email address (domain
outside the local network)
1. is this a security threat having such email leave the box? and go to
say a gmail account?
if so, could they be encrypted first? then sent (public key encryption)
2. if it is a better idea to keep them on the box then how do I do that
given that my machine does not have a valid DNS record
what do I put as the address if I would like them to go to the root's email?

I good tutorial or reference for either case would be much appreciated
Thanks in advance,
-gb
