--As for the rest, it is mine. You could leave out the 'nodev,nosuid' if you wanted to. However, they will help your users keep from shooting themselves (and possibly others...) in the foot. There might be occasions where the 'nosuid' would get in the way though. (Very rare, but I can see them occurring.) Just saying you should think about what you want to allow and not: There are other options as well that you can put in. They are all listed in the 'mount' man page; spending a little time reading that might come in handy. The fstab man page is where the documentation lives for the file you are editing, it'll tell you what the rest of the fields mean. Daniel T.
