My apologies for not having responded sooner, but I've been desperately trying
to remount this server. It seems that simply by copying the entire contents of
/usr/local/bin from the backup drive to the main drive, I rendered my box
unconnectable. It would boot, and I could see that it was up, but I couldn't
even ping it.

Now everything is back to normal, and the netstat reading above is from the
properly running machine. I also now know better than to indiscriminately copy
files from the backup drive to the main drive. But I am really curious to know
what it was I did to incapicitate my network card.

The folks where I rent my dedicated server were kind and helpful, but
unfortunately unfamiliar with OpenBSD.

Thanks again.

Lou
