Please report this to the bugs@ mailing list. It could possibly be a panic, to find out, start your computer without X, then try to mount it from the console. If you get the ugly blue lines, make sure you type "trace" and "ps" like it asks. If you only have a usb keyboard, and cannot type at that point, please mention it.
