The installer runs sysctl kern.emul.linux=1 when you reboot it sets it back.
/usr/ports/www/opera/pkg/PLIST: @sysctl kern.emul.linux=1

uncomment the following in /etc/sysctl.conf:
#kern.emul.linux=1
