Hi,

will usb3 be supported at some point? I have googled a bit but could not find any relevant information. I got this:

http://www.tedunangst.com/flak/post/USB-3-back-compat

In any case, when I attach a usb drive to the usb3 port, tail -f /var/log/messages does not display any information.

This is

5.3 GENERIC.MP#117 <http://GENERIC.MP#117> amd64

thanks

Pau

http://www.freebsdnews.net/2010/10/14/freebsd-usb-3-0-support/ says that there is an xchi(4) driver in FreeBSD. This means that it might be possible to port it over, but it might be a
project, ie, lots of time & effort.

So don't hold your breath, but it does look like it's possible, eventually.
