the final problem with Net::Server is the backtick usage. We can speedup OpenCA 3-4 times but if we try to run a command via `command`; then Perl crashs.
If somebody has an idea how to solve the problem then please mail it. We are open for all hacks.
I attached a very simple example which produce such a crash. The server goes automatically in the background.
