hi all,
At first, my intention is trying to login webmin server by
using self-created certificate without entering id/password.
So,I use OpenSSL to create a self-signed CA
cetificate and client certificates
signed from the self-signed CA certificate.
First, I add a line "ca=/path/to/my-ca-file" to
/etc/webmin/miniser.conf.
Second, I enter id/password to login
webmin server and turn on the SSL encryption module, and set the
Private
Key
field and Certificate field to one of my cient certificates.
Third, I restart the webmin server.
Fourth, I format one of my client certificates to pkcs12
to install to my IE browser.
Fifth, I open IE browser to connect to my wemin
server.
Here is the question...
After I select the client certificate installed in IE browser
to login webmin server, the sever still shows up the entering id/password
webpage.
How could this happen? What happens?
Does I miss to set something?
Or the wemin server just can't use self-created certficate to
login?
Any guide will help...Thanks...
