there are two possibilites: 1. There can be a problem with the configuration of your extensions. Please send the file OPENCADIR/etc/openssl/extfiles/rolename.ext to the list. Perhaps you modified the file and made a mistake during you configured the extensions for Microsoft's Smartcardlogin. 2. OpenSSL crashed but I have no idea what's going wrong. Which OpenSSL version do you use?
