Still having trouble with this, I am sure I am doing something wrong !

here is the CA output:

Exporting the configuration to a lower level of the hierarchy ...
(Please wait until operation completes)
            Exporting the RBAC-configuration ... Ok.
            Exporting valid CA_CERTIFICATE ...
9ede2d71529cb5826813735f53ccec0b.pem
            Exporting archive ...
Load required variables ...
Changing to directory /usr/local/internal_ca/openca/var/tmp/tmp_1487 ...
Running the export command(s) ...
/bin/tar -cvpf /tmp/openca.tar -C
/usr/local/internal_ca/openca/var/tmp/tmp_1487 .
Archive created successfully.
            Test the archive ...
/bin/tar -tvf /tmp/openca.tar
            Clean up ...Ok.

As you can see I just put the tar file in /tmp/openca.tar I can see it in the
file system. If I look in the file I can see the cacert pem file.

This is the log from the RA (on the same box for testing):

Importing the configuration from a higher level of the hierarchy ...
(Please wait until operation completes)
            Test the archive ...
/bin/tar -tvf /tmp/openca.tar
            Importing archive ...
Load required variables ...
Changing to directory /usr/local/internal_ra/openca/var/tmp/tmp_1512 ...
Running the import command(s) ...
/bin/tar -xvf /tmp/openca.tar -C
/usr/local/internal_ra/openca/var/tmp/tmp_1512
            Importing the RBAC-configuration ... Ok.
            LDAP-support is deactivated
            Importing _CA_CERTIFICATE ...
No objects are present.
Make CA-Certificate available on the server ...OK.
            Re-Building CA Chain ... Ok.
            Clean up ...Ok.

I am confused !

Chris...
