Has anyone managed to install OpenCA in a Windows 2000 environment? I know the question sounds a bit strange, but in Italy in order to obtain legal status for a PKI you need to satisfy a number of requirements, among them is to use an operating system certified at least EAL3. At the beginning of this year Suse Linux got this certification, but only for a limited number of IBM servers, that are not exactly the cheapest in the world; the simplest way to satisfy this requirement is still to use Windows 2000 that is certified in almost all its variations, so we can keep the CA on a portable PC in a strong safe and we don't need to have a whole room with access controls in place just for a PC. All suggestions are welcome. Paolo Prandini
