Hello,
I am trying to set up ocpsd v1.0.3 on Debian/Linux (Sparc).
OCPSD compiled all right with
g++ 3.3.5-3, libldap2-dev 2.1.30-8 and libssl-dev 0.9.7e-3
However, whenever I try to start ocspd I get the following
pinguinus:/usr/local/etc/ocspd# /usr/local/sbin/ocspd -v -c ./ocspd.conf
OpenCA's OCSP Responder

pinguinus:/usr/local/etc/ocspd#
and in the logs:
Jul 7 22:08:39 pinguinus ocspd[30694]: OpenCA OCSPD v1.0.3 - starting.
Jul 7 22:08:39 pinguinus ocspd[30694]: Using configuration from ./ocspd.conf
Jul 7 22:08:39 pinguinus ocspd[30694]: section set to OCSPD_default
Jul 7 22:08:39 pinguinus ocspd[30694]: reading certificate file
(/usr/local/etc/ocspd/certs/ocspd_cert.pem).
Jul 7 22:08:39 pinguinus ocspd[30694]: Reading Private Key file
/usr/local/etc/ocspd/private/ocspd_key.pem
Jul 7 22:08:39 pinguinus ocspd[30694]: cannot open BIO file, why ?
I am getting the same symptoms no matter if I am using LDAP or FILES
for data retrival.
Anything I would be doing wrong?
Also, something I am not clear about.
Is the index file in "db=[...]" the same as the OpenSSL "ca" index file?
In which case, does that mean that I cannot publish CRL for non-OpenSSL
Certificate Authorities - or for Certificate Authorities with corruted
index files?
Thanks
