thank you for your fast answer. I have had a look at the sheets, but the
question itself is still the same. Just in the moment I need to plan
this project, I dont need to realize it before the beginning of the next
year. So if you tell me, its possible what I intended to to, be sure, I
will be one of the candidates asking the whole bunch of silly questions
in the workshop :o) !
To keep this clear, I'll try to formulate my question again, maybe you
can answer it proforma ? Is it possible to create a Domain based on
Samba and an LDAP Directictory, and combined with OpenCA-issued
certificates to logon users via smartcard stored logon certificates
without having an M$ Active Directory? Clients will be W2K and WXP.
You'd help me a lot if you tell me if this works at all, or if there are
minor or major pitfalls.
