Ok, so - whats your var/log/stderr.log saying ??It's empty. Though debug is set to '1'. Strange.
Try rm -rf /usr/local/OpenCA and start from scratch :) I think somewhat was messed up during installation....If you have also done configuration work so far, just copy away config.xml and reuse it after installation.
