Hello All,

some weeks ago I wrote a posting, how Microsoft Mail Clients can qaccess the ldap directory, but I didn’t receive any answer…so here is the question again (if it is that stupid, than tell me that, please)

…One reason to use the ldap stuff is to provide an easy way for people to receive certs they need for encrypting emails, so they need the public key from the mail partner, which still isn’t known. I’ve tried to add my ldap server to the list of addresbooks in outlook (forgive me ;-)), but when I call it, nothig is displayed; also when I’m  trying to access my ldap directory via the IE, I can’t see any entrys in the addressbook; when I’m accessing it over a ldap browser, I can see the objects, but can’t download the certificate.

So here’s the question: what’s the best way to provide the ldap directory entrys to the users and how it can be implemented? Also how the certificates can be made downloadable via ldap?
