Hello Once Again, I have moved to a Fedora 8 enviroment that was a clean install except I believe I did add the perl 5.8.8 tarball.
Using the cpan interactive utility and doing install Net::SSLeay, I end up with: Test Summary Report ------------------- t/handle/external/10_destroy.t (Wstat: 65280 Tests: 2 Failed: 0) Non-zero exit status: 255 Parse errors: Bad plan. You planned 6 tests but ran 2. Files=20, Tests=196, 54 wallclock secs ( 0.02 usr 0.15 sys + 0.98 cusr 0.88 csys = 2.03 CPU) Result: FAIL Failed 1/20 test programs. 0/196 subtests failed. make: *** [test_dynamic] Error 255 FLORA/Net-SSLeay-1.32.tar.gz /usr/bin/make test -- NOT OK //hint// to see the cpan-testers results for installing this module, try: reports FLORA/Net-SSLeay-1.32.tar.gz Running make install make test had returned bad status, won't install without force Failed during this command: FLORA/Net-SSLeay-1.32.tar.gz : make_test NO _______________________________________________________________________________________ When I do "reports FLORA/Net-SSLeay-1.32.tar.gz" it effectively says it cannot find any reports. I had this same issue on the RedHat 4.1 machine. Any ideas?
