Adrian: Any modification to the GPL is completely out of the picture unless we can get the maintainers of the GPL to add it so that it is part of the official version. Remember that the GPL is copyright and that one of the terms is that they may choose this version or any later version - hence, our exception would be rendered useless as soon as a new version of the licence is issued without it.
