JavaCard is the implementation of a subset of the JavaVM and the Java
API for a smartcard. So you write Applets that are running inside the
card. OCF is a Framework to communicate with smartcard from a Desktop
computer. So you can write applets for the cards and applications for
the desktop. Booth sides can communicate via a standardised protocll
(ISO 7816-3,4..).
