So i use PassThruCardService to send blobs to my card but there seems to be
a limit in the neighbourhood of 256 as to how big a blob i can send
('chaining not implemented'). What is the reason for that? Obviously T=1
chaining is implemented since the packet size to the card is only 32 bytes.
I notice PassThruCardService is in the opencard.opt.util package. Is the
PassThruCardService a genuine part of opencard and will be available in
every environment or is it some optional feature?
Another more card reader specific issue, i use a GCR410 and when if have a
background process talking to the card and the system gets a little busy i
get the follow error:
CardTerminalException:
opencard.opt.terminal.protocol.T1IOException:
GemplusBlockProtocol.internalTrans
mit: GemplusBlockProtocol.exchangeData: timeout reached...
Seems some timeout management or retry mechanism is not working?
thnx, marius
