I am developing a simple windows application to read from and write to the phonebook on a GSM SIM card. I have a Gemplus GemPC430 reader. I have installed OCF and am using the PS/SC wrapper. I can successfully run the demos provided with OCF to getCardId etc. but I have no idea how to actually start reading the phonebook from the SIM card. I have tried using
sc.getCardService(FileAccessCardService.class, true);
but this does not seem to work for a SIM card. Do I need to use a different card service or am I on completely the wrong track? Are there any simple examples of reading a SIM phonebook or links that someone could recommend? I would ideally like to use Java but will also quite happily develop this in VB or C. Anything that works!
I'm sure these are very basic questions but I'm new to all this and am a bit lost!
Kind Regards,
Sarah Hannon
