It's not dead (TTM). I just merged it with trunk on my machine. Works OK. TTM 
by itself though is totally awesome!!

how is the status of openchrome-ttm drivers? there is no or a little bit 
work in the last weeks/months. Mesa and libdrm is not synced with the 
current versions. Is openchrome-ttm a dead project?
