MSI K9VGM-V
Hi,

You can see [http://www.openchrome.org/trac/browser/trunk|here] that "MSI
K9MM-V" is now supported.

I have an MSI K9VGM-V motherboard with a VIA K8M890 northbridge and I'm
wondering if it could help you to improve the openchrome driver.

Indeed, when I change "vesa" to "openchrome" in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, I have some
problems with 2D (for example, reading PDFs) and 3D (doesn't work at all)

I can understand that 3D is not yet avaible (dmesg says
"[drm:via_verify_command_stream] *ERROR* Accelerated 3D is not supported on
this chipset yet.") but why glxinfo shows "direct rendering: Yes" if it's false
?

I have also a "fire_buffer: DRM_VIA_PCICMD returned -22" at the end of glxinfo
: is it normal ?

Thanks
