#251: KPDF & OpenChrome Problem
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
Reporter: Danix803 | Owner: somebody
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: major | Component: xdriver
Version: 0.2.903 | Keywords:
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
When I open a pdf document my video starts to go beserk. If I open a small
file the cursor looks fine for about a minute, then it gets a little
square area around it that distorts anything that I move it over. If I
open a file of substantial size, around 13.4MBytes... over 200 pages, it
locks up immediately... and it's a hard lock up... I can't even use alt-
ctrl-f1 to get to a command prompt... It's almost like I'm using windows
LOL...
I'm sorry, but I don't know what component would cause this, so I don't
know which one to select...
It was happening 0.2.902... that's why I upgraded to 0.2.903... and it
didn't help any...
Computer Info:
Screen drifts/bleeds over when moving from one profile to another...
Chrome9 video, 250GB HD, 1GB RAM... P4M900T-M motherboard
Linux-Mepis kernel 2.6.26, kde 3.5.8...
I would tell you what version of KPDF I'm using, but I can't open
it
anymore...

I'm not certain what version of OpenChrome I'm using... is there a
command
that I use to find out...
I think that I'm using xf86-video-openchrome-0.2.902 and this is
the version
manual that I have installed... xf86-video-openchrome 0.2.902
Do you have any idea what might cause this???
