#279: Very high cpu usage when using VNC

When using a vnc server to allow access to computer running openchrome
driver, with a connected client Xorg process consumes
40%-90% cpu (as shown by top), and computer becomes quite irresponsive.
Programs for making screencasts behave similarly.
There is no such issue when using vesa driver.
