Agenda:
1) Work on list of API calls from the user layer to the decode layer.
These will help us design and verify all other APIs.
2) Review a six layer model of the architecture stack as a better way to help
us understand how all of this fits together.
3) If we have time, compare API interface between User layer and decode layer
to ONLP's API between Decode layer and Kernel.
Some information for all three topics will be in the presentation that will be
posted before the meeting.

During last week's monthly OpenCompute-Networking project meeting, we kicked
off the project that we are calling Open Optical Monitoring. The kickoff

open software architecture and interfaces for accessing the information in
pluggable modules used in OCP open switches running linux based NOS.
This is a call for our first meeting of those that are interested in helping
complete the project.
The proposal is to meet for a one hour phone call with online interaction using
Fuze and Google Docs provided by Carlos.
I am proposing two times for next week and based on feedback will choose one of
the meeting times on Monday 11/16.
On Monday I will send out the meeting time and pointers to the meeting
resources.
