Hi all!
I just installed your OpenProtect software and want to
give some hints/feedback on what my thoughts were while
installation:
First, I encountered the error message that there is
no "*CLAM*something" user/group available on the system.
While that is no error as such, you could provide some
information in the readme whether one should create such
a group before installation of openprotect.
Then, I miss some basic information in the readme/or overall
documentation what happens (say, in the standard configuration)
to spam mails [i.e.: are they tagged as spam only? or moved
to a quarantine directory? or deleted? where do I need to
tweak?].
Also, some information would be useful on how to update
the clam antivirus definitions.
Last, the installation routine had trouble creating the
startup links under Gentoo (well, I know Gentoo does not
handle things according the standards); the startup scripts
are located here at /etc/runlevels/default/.
