Dear Scott Heisler,

I get the following e-mail message when a CNN flash news message is sent to
one of my users on a daily basis:

This message uses a character set that is not supported by the Internet
Service. To view the original message content, open the attached message.
If the text doesn't display correctly, save the attachment to disk, and then
open it using a viewer that can display the original character set.

Can someone explain what exactly this means and how I can allow e-mails like this one, from CNN, to pass through?

Thanks

Scott

The following link discusses your exact problem.

Seems there is an issue with non-standard MUA or lists that sends the flash news from CNN or some intermediate MTA or your MUA i.e the mail client used may be causing the issue. Maybe you can disable OpenProtect and see whether the mail comes through properly. If not, then try a different mail client.

cheers,
