Er... yes, I think it should. Jan was testing this with the KDE Plasma auth-dialog but I think it eventually transpired he was testing with 7.08 and then the problem was fixed only when he tried git HEAD plus my patch. I think you're right; git HEAD on its own would have sufficed. Jan?
